I am already in South Carolina, in the old city of Charleston. It is located on the little peninsula, connected by bridges with the rest of the state.

It is very nice place – full of colonial houses, churches and cozy restaurants. Horse carriages are cruising cobbled streets with the tourists. Former slave market alley is converted to the museum.

Charleston is famous for the charleston dance, wchich was born here in the twenties of 20th century. I went to the fancy visitors center asking if there is a place in Charleston to learn the charleston dance. The response was negative. But they sent me to the Prohibition Bar suggesting thet thisis the place where the old local guests remember how to dance charleston. Shame!
