Hello from new Caribbean country! In the morning pur ship docked in St John’s – the capital of Antigua and Barbuda. The port has a character with many timber houses and and terrible stink. There is not much to see in the capital except restored St John’s cathedral. But be ready to pay 5 euro or dollars entry fee already at the gate!
I took my companion by public minibus from West Bus Station to located 22 kms away Nelson dockyard – historic Brit’s navy base. Great monument from UNESCO list! Many tourist and many luxury yachts docking now here. Palms, flowers, exhibition and 15 USD entry fee! Free internet! Unfortunately to much clouds and even light rain to go further to Shirley Heights for the view. The fare of minibus full of locals costs only 1,50 USD each way! It os worth to be here…
