After long drive (it was more then 3000 kms by car) through American South I boarded Cruise ship in Port Canaveral – Florida.  Today I reached my first Island on this sea voyage – it is Grand Turk – the part of “Turk and Caicos” insular state.  In the past it was Britrish colony. The island is only 7 miles long so I am exploring it by foot. It is sum, very hot and humid.

I already was here some 22 years ago, I believe.  Grand Turk is still very cosy, quite, palm – fringed place with many colonial buildings including former Her Majesty Prison.

Blue ocean around and nice local people – some of them immigrated to Turk from Haiti.
