To keep the cost low I bought the air ticket with a “carry-on baggage only” version.

Norwegian Airline limit for such a baggage is 10 kgs only.  My backpack was a bit heavier but nobody at the check-in took care about it.  We started from Gdansk on time – there were 12 deg. Celsius and cloudy.  I like Norwegian – it is like “upper shelf” of low-cost airlines.

But do not expect any freebies – you will pay extra even for the drinking water.

It was sunny in Oslo and light snow on the ground when we landed. Minus 4 deg Celsius – it is already winter here. My son Adam (he and his family live and work here) was waiting for me in the Gardemoen airport.  I was so happy to see them again after few months!

My next flight – to Florida departs tomorrow.
