ROUTE:
TRASA:
1 – Gdansk to
Copenhagen then to Reykjavik, Iceland – by air, Reykjavik to Kulusuk, Greenland ond
onward to Kangerlussuaq – by air. By air to Ilulissat and by ship along the coast to Nuuk,
visiting 5 harbours onthe way. Nuuk to Narsarsuaq by air and onward to Reykjavik.
2 – From Reykjavik day excursions to Westman Islands, Lake Myvatn area,
Langjokull Glacier, and Golden Ring – by bus, jeep and air. Then return by air
to Gdansk via Copenhagen.

remarks:
I wanted to visit two
countries: Iceland and Greenland during one travel. Both countries are worth to see, and
because there are closely located it was logic. The basic problem was to find interesting
airfare. There is partnership between countries but they have not integrated system of air
links and several air companies servicing region do not offer any combined air
tariff. nobody of my friends traveled this area before… After long studies I recognized
that three separated tickets give me the best solution: return for LO & FI carriers
from Poland to Iceland, next one for flights between Iceland and Greenland and third for
domestic flights in Greenland.
Chciałem podczas jednej podróży połšczyć
wizytę w Islandii i Grenlandii. Oba kraje sš warte zobaczenia, a ponieważ leżš blisko
siebie wydawało mi się to logiczne. Podstawowym problemem okazało się znalezienie
korzystnych taryf lotniczych. Okazało się, że choć kraje sš partnerami nie majš
zintegrowanego systemu połaczeń lotniczych, a klika różnych towarzystw lotniczych
obsługujacych ten region nie oferuje żadnej wspólnej taryfy. Nikt z przyjaciół nie
podróżował w tamtych stronach… Po długich studiach okazało sie, że
optymalnym rozwišzaniem będzie wykupienie kilku odzielnych biletów: powrotnego na LOT i
Icelandair z Gdańska do Islandii, kolejnego na przeloty między Islandia i Grenlandiš i
wreszcie trzeciego – na wewnętrzne przeloty w Grenlandii.
