“Wojtkówka” to moje ulubione miejsce – do którego
latem można uciec od betonu, hałasu i zanieczyszczeń wielkiego miasta. Sam ją
zaprojektowałem i zbudowałem z niemałym wysiłkiem w ciągu trzech kolejnych lat.
Dziś jest nie tylko miejscem relaksu, ale także miejscem, do którego zapraszam moich
przyjaciół, by przy filiżance dobrej herbaty i świeżych owocach porozmawiać o
dawnych czasach i dalekich krajach…
“Wojtkówka” is my favorite place – my
summer escape from concrete walls, noise and pollution of the big town. I designed it and
built it myself with large effort during three consecutive years. Today it is not only
place of relaxation but also a place to invite my friends for a cup of the good tea, some
fresh fruits and a chat on old times and distant countries…
Lubię drewno, bo daje ciepło i
specyficzny koloryt, więc mój domek zbudowałem całkowicie z sosnowego i świerkowego
drewna. A ponieważ lubię majsterkować – z drewna wykonałem także kilka prostych
mebli: krzesła, stół i ławy. Oto jak wygląda wnętrze “Wojtkówki”…
I like timber because of its warmth and specific
coloring, so I built my cottage totally of pine and spruce timber. And since I like to do
some DIY – I made also basic furniture: chairs, table and benches. Here you

When I was starting my work in the spring of 1983
there was only empty field with the beginning of my fence…
Na początku było dużo
kopania – gdy powstawał wykop pod piwnicę, potem wylewałem po kawałku betonowe
fundamenty i ściany…
The cellar required a lot of digging – then I poured
step by step the concrete foundation and the cellar walls…
Zimą, gdy nie mogłem
kontynuować prac w polu przygotowałem projekt konstrukcji domku…
In the winter, when I couldn’t continue field works
I prepared construction drawings of my cottage…
Latem 1984 roku udało się postawić konstrukcję domku i
pokryć ją dachem – to było najtrudniejsze – na kilka dni musiałem zaprosić
przyjaciół do pomocy… Nie zawiedli!
During the summer of 1984 I was able to erect the
frame of the cottage and to manage the most difficult task – to complete the roof. For a few days I
invited friends to help me…
W 1985 roku wykończyłem wnętrze
domku i jesienią mogłem zaprosić pierwszych gości. A oto jak “Wojtkówka”
wygląda zimą – pokryta śniegiem… Ma już 35 lat!
Latem 2010 roku obchodziłem z
przyjaciółmi srebrny jubileusz “Wojtkówki” –
tutaj relacja z tej
uroczystości.
In 1985 I put the finishing touches to the interior of the
cottage and in the autumn it became possible to invite my first guests. And here you
can see how “Wojtkówka” looks like in the snow… It is already
35 years
old!

celebrated the silver jubilee of “Wojtkówka” –

summer season international visitors are warmly welcome to “Wojtkówka” for the
cup of tea and fresh berries. It is only 30-minute walk from Gdansk international
