The cliffs of Guernsey

Today I had a full day to explore Guernsey Island. The local buses go to the all corners of the island and around – along the coast. The best deal is to buy for 5 pounds “day ticket” for unlimited travel and… start early.
I had a problem what to do with my backpack. In the tourist office on the waterfront they said they are not allowed to keep the luggage. They sent me to the AB Maritime shop on the pier – they have cloak room charging hefty 5 pounds per day – no choice! I took first bus to Jerbourg in the southeastern end of the island. Great coastal path took me from this place along the south coast as far as Saints Bay. I took me about 2 hours with the fantastic panoramas of the coast. Then I took a bus to Fort Grey on the western coast. And in the afternoon bus 91 going around the island took me along the northern coast back to the capital of the island. Great, sunnt day! In the evening I took a big ferry to Jersey. Hungarian friends were waiting here for me…
