St Kitts Island….

This is one of the nicest Caribbean islands. Green mountains, blue waters, black people are waiting for you…
From the Ferry Terminal bus station I took a microbus to the bottom of Brimstone Hill (2 USD only) To get to the famuus Brimstone fortress (mentioned on UNESCO list) you must climb 200 m up by step, windy road. I was lucky to hitchhike up. On the way you have 15 USD entrance fee, but it is worth. Credit cards are accepted. The fortress is located in the beautiful landscape and has interesting exhibitions. The land and sea views from the walls are great. Back in the capital of the island I still has a time to visit green Independence Square, two nice churches and historic clock tower. Hot, but very interesting day. Aha: in the cruise terminal they provide free internet connection!
