Landing in Savona

At the sunrise our ship carefully entered little port of Savona. Blue sky, lovely breakfast with a view of the green hills on the coast. At 9 am I was ready to disembark after thanking and saying warm goodbye to my cabin steward and brilliant waiter Raydante. Both of them are from the Philippines… With carry-on baggage only there was no need to wait for the baggage (when thousand plus passengers is disembarking it is a problem) Then O took a walk across Savona town to the station. Ticket to the nearest airport in Genova costs 4,90 euro and the ride took me 45 minutes.
In Genova my short, low-cost plane to Naples was on time. From Naples I have direct Ryanair flight to my Gdansk, where I will be landing aroung 7 pm – very convenient and inexpensive connection. Another lovely voyage is coming to the end!
