It was hazy morning in Gdansk and stll dark when I was going to the Gdansk Airport. The well-known meeting of Polish Globies takes place in provincial city of Rzeszów – in thr southeastern corner of Poland so heading there I have to cross all my country. To shorten the time of the long journey I decided to fly to Warsaw and then continue by Polski Bus – if you book early you can pay only 2 zlotys (75 cents) for 5 hours journey.
Our meeting since 2 years is supported by Rzeszow University and as a result all speakers have free accommodation in the classy Rzeszow Hotel. Before the meeting started at 4 pm I had a chance to meet my friends from all over Poland – all of them are passionate travellers. I had also a chance to meet for the first time Alexander Doba – the man of my age who crossed solo Atlantic Ocean by small kayak. You can see us on the picture. Slide shows one by one took us to the all continents. Before midnight I was already too tired to stay longer. What a pictures, what a stories!
